Alexander Michurin
1929 - 2004
Born in the small town of Kovulkino within the Russian republic of Mordovia, USSR.
1945-1947 Attended an art high school in Rostov Russia.
1957-1962 Attended and graduated from the prestigious Memory of 1905 Art School in Moscow. His teacher was the well know artist, M.V. Dobroserdov, an Honored Artist of the Soviet Union.
Member of USSR artist union (and art fond of USSR) - from 1985
Member of Moscow artist union - from 1994
Participated in exhibitions within Moscow, the Russian republic and USSR. The largest personal exhibition was in Moscow in 1975 ("Forum" 120 paintings).
Artists work currently hangs in the Moscow Kremlin. Four pieces purchased in 1998 and four in 2001 by the Russian Federation President Administration.
His paintings are in private collections in several countries.
