Tatiana Konovalova-Kovrigina

1915 -

People's artist of the USSR.

In 1936 graduated from the Moscow lithograph art school.

From 1936 to 1951 Tatiana studied at the Moscow Surikov Art Institute under the tutorship of famous masters D. Pokarzhevski and G. Shegal.

During the war she was part of the group of artists who painted the famous Okna-Tass, hand-painted posters.

From the mid 1950s, Tatiana Konovalova-Kovrigina was a constant participant of All-Union and Republican as well as local Moscow art exhibitions.

The artist's works are preserved at the Municipal museum of Fine Arts of the city of Tver, at Tambov State picture gallery, at the State art Museums of Perm, Kharkov and at Rostov-na-Donu.
